Located in the ground floor parlors of an 1840's townhouse in the heart of the French Quarter. It is my second venture into art gallery;
after 25 years of having a successful gallery in Santa Fe, I decided to return home to New Orleans. The strong cultural ties (my father, Cosimo Matassa of J&M music studio),
family, and the new vibrancy of New Orleans was irresistible. This incarnation is somewhat different although I am continuing to represent two of my favorite artists,
James Strombotne and George Alexander with whom I have a over 20 year relationships. My roster is small group of regional and nationally recognized artists both
emerging and established; artists whose work united by the use of rich complex color, technical excellence and a strong individual signature.
